(More customer reviews)These 3M Filtrete Fast Flow Filters are amazing for two reasons: (1) they filter so quickly, it seems like you're filling your pitcher straight from the running tap; and (2) the filtration is so effective, you get crystal-clear water that tastes every bit as good as bottled spring water. Another nice feature is the push-activated center button that tells you when it's time to replace the filter (after 3 months).
I use these filters with a Filtrete 3M Filtrete Water Pitcher. The pitcher is a little large for my refrigerator, in part because the fast-flow filter is extra wide to speed up filtration. However, I'm willing to give the pitcher extra refrigerator space, because of the way the filter cleans up my often discolored and bad-tasting municipal tap water. Also, if I shop around for the best price, one replacement filter costs less than what I'm paying now for a three-month supply of bottled water--and there are no plastic bottles to dispose of.
